Ethan Hou is the President and Founder of iCare uCare Youth and a current student in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary. As an outstanding youth leader, Ethan exemplifies compassion, initiative, and a deep commitment to community service. Under his leadership, iCare uCare Youth has organized numerous volunteer and fundraising initiatives that have made a meaningful impact locally. Ethan successfully led a fundraising campaign for wildfire Jasper School, raising CAD 2,000 to support students and enhance learning resources. For the past two years, he has also joined to delivery diapers to a children’s hospital, providing consistent care and support for young patients in need. Beyond his community outreach efforts, Ethan has coached table tennis for more than 20 children with autism, fostering inclusion, confidence, and joy through sport. Ethan’s leadership reflects not only a strong sense of civic responsibility but also an inspiring ability to motivate others toward kindness, service, and positive change.
